When visiting the Netherlands for a maximum of 90 days you may need a short-stay Schengen visa. Please consult the following 
list to check if you should apply for a visa. Information on how to apply for a visa can be found here. Even if you do not need a visa, there are rules on travelling to the Netherlands without a visa.

Travelling by Train
Amsterdam Central Station is your destination if you are travelling to the Netherlands by train. Click here to plan your train travels from almost any European destination to Amsterdam city centre.

Travelling by Airplane
Amsterdam Schiphol Airport is the main Dutch airport with many European and intercontinental flight connections. You can reach the city centre of Amsterdam within 15 minutes by train. Schiphol station is located directly below the airport.

Rotterdam The Hague Airport and Eindhoven Airport manage low-cost airlines and have good connections with other European cities. From both airports it’s easy to travel to Amsterdam by public transport.
