iPRES 2019 will take place in EYE, the national museum for film located on Amsterdam’s IJ harbour. EYE is easily reached by public transport, car or bicycle.

Ferry

Eye is directly opposite Amsterdam Central Station. From the station, a ferry takes pedestrians and (motor)cyclists across the harbour to EYE. Take the ferry in the direction of Buiksloterweg. The 24/7 ferry service is free of charge and leaves every few minutes. The ferry ride takes approximately three minutes. Eye is located on your left and is a three-minute walk from the ferry.

Car
Should you wish to come by car, please use the following car route. Set your GPS to Overhoeksplein 1. The A’DAM Tower car park is at the end of Céramiquelaan.

Coming from Coentunnel (A10 West Circular), follow the S118 signs and turn right at the traffic lights.
Coming from the A10 East Circular, first, take exit S116 [CvH1], then exit S118.
Coming from IJtunnel (driving on the S116) take exit S118.

  • Leave the S118 at the Ridderspoorweg.
  • At the end of Klaprozenweg, turn left into Distelweg.
  • After 25 meters turn right into Asterweg.
  • Asterweg continues into Docklandweg. Follow this road until you reach the bifurcation.
  • Turn right into Céramiquelaan. This road ends at the entrance of the underground car park on Overhoeksplein.
    please note: The area around the car park may be difficult to access due to construction activities. We advise you to follow the temporary yellow traffic diversion signs to avoid unnecessary detours.

Accessibility
Eye’s entire building is accessible to people in wheelchairs or with any other restriction. The elevator to get to the reception desk is located right next to the staircase of the main entrance. All floors of Eye are accessible by lift and all rooms have wheelchair-accessible seating.
