The iPRES 2019 Programme will be announced on 17 June. We can already tell you that the last day of the conference is reserved for visits to Dutch Digital Heritage Institutes.
This brand new part of iPRES 2019 allows you to take a peek into the digital preservation world of The Netherlands and to see how some of Holland’s best collections are being preserved.
Some of the venues you can visit are in Amsterdam, some of them at a short distance away from Amsterdam (max. 1 hour train). You will travel on your own and a host will welcome you at the venue. The hosting organizations will offer a program of 1.5 – 2 hours in which they will present their achievements in digital preservation.
We will reveal the participating organizations on 17 June, when the full programme for iPRES 2019 is announced. Further details – also how to sign up for a specific visit – will follow soon.
